How is this different from the Clear Skin Serum?

The serum is your concentrated treatment step — it delivers higher levels of retinal, niacinamide, and willow bark directly into the skin. The balancing lotion is your moisturizing step — it seals in the serum's benefits, controls oil throughout the day, and adds brightening and mattifying ingredients. Use them together for best results: serum first, lotion second.

Will this feel too light to moisturize my skin?

It's designed for oily and combination skin types, so it's intentionally lightweight and non-greasy. If your skin tends toward dryness, it may not provide enough hydration on its own — in that case, use it as a daytime lotion and opt for the Pumpkin Renew Cream in the evening. 

Is this suitable for sensitive acne-prone skin?

The formula includes fireweed extract, allantoin, aloe, and rooibos specifically to calm and soothe — making it better tolerated than most acne moisturizers. That said, it does contain essential oils including tea tree, lemongrass, and grapefruit, so patch test first if your skin is very reactive.

How often should I use it?

For best results, use twice daily—morning and night— it works well at both. In the morning it controls oil and preps skin for SPF and makeup. In the evening it supports overnight skin balancing and recovery.
