Bioactive Ingredients of Interest

Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract (Pomegranate) -
Rich in naturally occurring fruit acids, a great gentle exfoliant and has two-three times more antioxidant capacity than red wine and green tea, which is attributed to elevated polyphenol content. Antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and astringent.

Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract -
Natural source of salicylic acid used as an exfoliant, antibacterial, soothing anti-inflammatory (high in quercetin and rutin), analgesic, anti-irritant, antioxidant, anti-microbial, anti-viral and effective against acne-causing bacteria. Quercetin is a bioflavonoid (nutrient) found in fruits and leafy green vegetables, maintains collagen health, strengthens capillaries, connective tissues, and is anti-inflammatory.

Totarol (SCO2 Totarol™) -
Provides preservative actions while acting as a gentle and non-irritating anti-bacterial ingredient in both gram positive and negative bacteria (propionibacterium acne is particularly sensitive to this extract), anti-viral, antioxidant, effectively reduces acne disturbances.

Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Juice -
Provides antibacterial effects, nourishes the skin while protecting from free radical damage.
